110th Mahratta Light Infantry, officer’s mess waistcoat button 16mm

The 16mm officer’s button of the 110th Mahratta Light Infantry is the pattern worn from 1903 to 1923 when it became a battalion of the 5th Mahratta LI. It is of flat gilt brass construction with the regimental numerals within a strung bugle beneath a King’s crown applied in silver. There is no backmark other than a decorative pattern. There is a little rubbing on the high points of the crown but the button is in good condition. feb2/4 SOLD 2nd February 2023
