Officer’s silver plated ball button of late George III period with the simple incised design of 18 L . D within a circle of inward facing leaves. There is no backmark on the copper base but it retains the original shank and is in excellent condition. Parkyn illustrates this button 36 which he dates to around 1807. sep13/1
