Wylly, Colonel H. C., C.B.: From the Black Mountain to Waziristan. Being an account of the Border Countries and the more turbulent of the Tribes controlled by the North West Frontier Province and of our military relations with them in the past. Macmillan & Co Ltd [London], 1912 1st edition 8vo.

8 folding maps [as called for], xvi, [i List of Maps], 505pp. Contemporary handsome school prize binding of full green polished leather gilt, very clean with minimal wear although there is a very thin line down the spine as though a sharp knife had been run down it, the spine faded to a brownish shade [often the case with green and blue leather bindings]. The contents are very clean, the maps are in a pocket at the rear and there is just a little ege wear and curling to some where they have been standing proud of the pocket, an unused armorial prize label of Malvern College to the front marbled paper pastedown. The maps are: North West Frontier Province [fully coloured]; Tribal Limits, Black Mountin; Buner, Swat and Bajaur; Dir and Chitral; Utman Khel and Mohmand Countries; Afridi and Orakzai Countries, Miranzai and Kurram; Tochi and Waziristan.
