2nd Foot, The Queen’s Royal Regiment, officer’s gilt 25mm

An excellent 25mm example of an officer’s gilt button of the 2nd Queen’s Royal Regt. of Foot with the backmark WILLIAM JONES & Co. 236 REGENT ST. LONDON. It retains virtually the full original gilt finish.This design was worn from 1855 until 1881 when the regiment became the 1st & 2nd Bns. The Queen’s Royal Regiment.   may17/1  SOLD  13th June 2025
