Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, A scarce example of the officer’s large 25mm silver plated button with the backmark HOBSON & SONS LEXINGTON ST LONDON W. This is one of those regiments where volunteer battalions differ from regular ones not only in the metal but in the design. The button has the central design of a strung bugle beneath a crown and the surrounding title reads 2ND VOLR BATTN DUKE OF CORNWALL’S LIGHT INFY.    mar29/6  SOLD 15th 2023
