30th Regt of Foot, Cambridgeshire Regiment, brass 25mm


A 25mm sized numbered button of the 30th Foot, Cambridgeshire Regiment.  The  tunic button is a brass example with the backmark NUTTING  LONDON, PATENT. This is the pattern worn from 1855 to 1881, when the regiment became 1st Bn. East Lancashire Regiment. The maker is much more often making the older pewter buttons. aug6/4
