Original olive green cloth, a little loss of colour to one corner of upper board but an excellent very clean copy with no previous ownership markings. Miss Duncan travelled as far as Pangkong. Her description is detailed and interesting and she gives more information than usual about the mode of travel for a woman in the mountains. One of the less well known intrepid lady travellers of Victorian and Edwardian times. Yakushi D 171.      dec12/1
