Antique buckle set with eight agates.

A 19th century buckle, 45 x 35 mm, set with eight polished agates in gilt metal around a vacant octagonal aperture [presumably once set with a stone or cameo]. It retains the fittings to the reverse, prsumably for fixing to a bracelet. An attractive piece of jewellery in need of imaginative re-purposing. feb22/3 SOLD 1st February 2023
