ASHBOURNE HALL, DERBYSHIRE. A good mid Victorian cdv

£8.00

A good carte de visite, identified on the plain back in a contemporary hand Ashbourne Hall. The Georgian country house in Derbyshire was in the Cockayne and Boothby families until it changed hands several times in the second half of the 19th century. I believe it is now available for self catering tourist accommodation. Cdvs of buildings are not vdery common, the huge majority being portraits.    jan28/3
