Contemporary half black leather gilt with pebbled green cloth boards, minor rubbing and wear but a very decent, sound copy for a journal of this age, no previous ownership markings [uniform with the two volumes of 1844 listed elsewhere in this category] .By this period the Journal was not being reprinted verbatim in England and copies in decent, non-Indian, condition are hard to find.
