Assam Valley Light Horse. A troopers Torin side cap with a King’s crown badge and hackle of black and red feathers, which have been added later and can simply be removed if wished. .It retains the original lining. There are a very few areas with a little insect damage but the cap, a scarce survival, is in rather good condition for its age. The AVLH badge is brass with traces of an original black finish and is 45 x 33 mm. sep23/4
