The photograph is mainly of interest because of the photographer, whose royal appointment was presumably limited to the time of the Prince of Wales’s visit to India in 1875. The card is in good clean condition although it appears to have been slightly tripped along the lower edge.
Although in our photograph the card appears to be white it is actually printed in sepia on yellow.
