Coimbatore. A late Victorian original 5½ x 4 ins photograph of a temple in the Coimbatore region of the Madras Presidency. A contemporary pencil inscription beneath the image reads: Part of a Temple near Coimbatore, India. all carved in solid stone. Taken in ¼ second by J.S. . There is aalso verso writing on the verso but it is indistinct. The card, of cabindet card size, is approx. 6½ x 4½ ins. apr2/3
