Coldstream Guards silver and enamel tie pin

The brooch style tie pin has the silver badge of the Coldstream Guards with central garter enamelled in three colours. The back of the badge is marked SILVER on the upper part and the maker R CROSS, WINDSOR on the lower. The bar measures 60mm and the badge 23 x 20mm. It is probably mid 20th century in manufacture but the Coldstream Guards badge does not change with reign as it does not include a crown or cypher.
