Delhi Durbar 1911 Medal. Excellent contemporary miniature medal
£40.00
A very fine example of a minauture of the silver Delhi Durbar medal awarded to commemorate the Coronation of King Emperor George V who is shown on the obverse with the Queen Empress Mary. This contemporary example has a small length of old ribbon. The obverse and the ribbon are the same as those used on the Coronation Medals although the reverse differs [see elsewhere in this category for an example]. The reverse has an elaborate Farsi inscription with the King Emperor’s titles. dec16/1
