There are not the usal plates of sporting teams found in this sort of book but there are two of officers’ polo teams and a fascinatding one of the Cyclist Corps. Original leather gilt, re-cased with new leather spine, rubbing and wear to extremitcies of the binding but the attractive gilt blocking to the fron board still very bright. The upper board is spinging somewhat from the text block, which itself is very clean, all edges gilt. Printed in the UK this a much smarter productiion that most of this sort of records of regimental service in India. nov29/2
