Epaulettes of the type worn by Indian Political Officers, with correct buttons

A pair of shoulder cords in excellent clean condition, each with its original high quality 20mm gilt buttons mounted with the royal arms. These are of the screw type and bear the backmark of JENNENS & Co LONDON. In India this pattern was worn by Political Officers but it was also worn by 1st & 2nd Class Diplomatic Officers and some members of the Royal Household. The pattern of the cord conforms to that worn by the Royal Artillery. jun26/2 SOLD 17th February 2023
