A 40mm bronze medallion by A DOUBLEMARO cast with the obverse design of a classical figure [possibly Themis, Goddess of Justice as she holds scales but in this without the usual sword in the other hand] with animals and the wording SOCIÉTÉ PROTECTRICE DES ANIMAUX. The reverse has the wording XIIIe CONGRÈS INTERNATIONAL PARIS 1900. The medal retains its original leather covered box and is in extremely fine condition. nov15/3
