A 5 x 3½ ins greetings card with the badge of the Garhwal Rifles to the front. Tied with regimental ribbon is an inner leaf with an inscription from Peter and a tipped in photograph, titled Officers’Mess and Quarters in Winter. Lower Camp, RazmakThe reverse of the card has marks where it has been tipped into an old album. Razmak was an important military station in North Waziristan, now part of Pakistan. sep16/2     SOLD 12th October 2022

Provenance: From a dilapidated old album from a descendant of Sir Malcolm Hailey, OM. GCSI, GCMG, GCIE sometime Governor of the Punjab, later of the UP, and 1st Baron Hailey.
