Heavy old Indian silver coin

The chunky little coin measures 18mm in diameter and is about 5mm thick. Weighing 11 gms it is the kind of coin which I believe had a value related exactly to its silver weight but otherwise we know nothing about it. It was brought back to the UK in the late nineteenth century.
