Marquess Curzon of Kedleston. Autograph letter signed, 1908

Autograph letter signed Curzon dated 1 Carlton House Terrace, S.W. July 23, 1908. The 7 x 5¼ ins letter is on three sides of Lord Curzon’s black edged writing paper embossed with his personal London address. It is written to My dear Provost, an Oxford academic to whom Cyrxon wishes to speak and he suggests he will motor over to Oxford  onSunday afternoon. This is signed after Curzon has left India where he was Viceroy from 1899 to 1905. There is a amtk on the final blank side where the letter has been tipped ot an old album leaf.   nov17/5  SOLD 5th July 2022
