Title page, advertisement to 1st edition, advertisement from London Gazette, contents list, 75pp, publisher’s advertisement. Later 19th/20th century half brown leather with marbled boards, title in gilt running up the spine, shelf number in white ink to spine and mark where a taped label has been removed, top edges gilt, very clean and sound throughout, private armorial bookplate of Hugh E. E. Everard and shelf number to pastedown, no other ownership marks present or removed. Brief description of regimental uniform colours is given (as: red faced with light blue). Although many of the corps are located where their name would suggest it is interesting to note examples such as Pembrokeshire Militia at Maidstone, West Kent at Weymouth, Cheshire at Rochester, etc. A scarce book.
