Part I:Frontispiece  & 12 other plates, 8 folding maps in text and 2 in rear pocket, 67pp. Part II: The Afridi and Red Shirt Rebellion, 1930-31. The Mohmand and Bajaur Rebellion, 1935: 5 plates, 8 folding maps in text and 3 in rear pocket, pp71-159.              Part III: The Loe agra Campaign – 1935. The Mohmand Campaign – 1935 :    frontispiece & 12 other plates, 8 folding maps, pp161-260. Old military binding with black lettering to the spine of the very faded once red cloth, ex library Ministry of Defence Library, New Delhi with label to front pastedown and single blue stamps to a blank and the title page, the heavy text block is sound [paper in good condition with just a small insect run to prelims and pages 1 & 2], all folding maps as called for and quite neatly folded although the block is pulling from the hinges, all maps in the pocket present as called for together with some contemporary newspaper cuttings about operations in 1937. A scarce original copy of an important official history which had a print run of 750 – not many considering the size of the army in 1945.     oct24/1
