22 engraved plates, vi, [i list of plates] 263pp. Original full olive green leather blind stamped and gilt with elephant gilt blocked to both boards, large paper copy 9½ x 6 ins, a little wear and a small stain to the lower right corner of the upper board but an excellent copy,very little occasional foxing to the plates which retain their tissue guards, all edges gilt, unusual contemporary printed name plate to front pastedown Margaret Poulett. This was the second year of printing of this title. There were a further five editions us p to 1841. One of the illustrations shows our 1834 copy alongside a standard sized copy of the same year. This title has become scarcer as some dealers have specialised in splitting the books for the engravings, occasionally colouring them.      apr4/1

Lady Margaret Charlotte Poulett [[1830-1834] was the daughter of John, 5th Earl Poulett of Hinton St. George, Somerset, sometime Colonel of the Somerset Militia.
