Primrose League medal showing support for conservative causes

The medal, 38 x 48mm excluding ring, has the gilt device with an imperial crown on a white metal background and probably dates from Edwardian times. The society was founded in 1863 to support the Conservative and Unionist cause and has the motto Imperium et Libertas . More sophisticated than a blue rosette and complete with the original purple and white ribbon suspension. SOLD 3rd August 2021
