Scots Guards, 6 bandsmen with large brass instruments, circa 1900

A good, clear group portrait of six members of the Band of the Scots Guards each with a tuba or euphonium and wearing medals. The photograph measures 6 x 4¾ ins and is tipped to an old grey photographer’s card. 10 x 8 ins from which it is lifting a little atx the edges and corners. All sport the moustache which seems to have been standard at the period. may21/5 SOLD 28th May 2023
