Studio portrait of a young sublatern of the Irish Guards in a Guards brigade frame

The portrait is by Hills & Saunders and measures 8 x 6 ins. It is signed on the mount in pencil by the photographers and shows the 2nd Lieutenant bust length in service dress and wearing his cap. It probably dates from just before the second world war. The frame is sound but a little worn at the corners. It has a working strut at the back.
