A folding map of the Napoleonic period, coloured in outline, dissected, linen-backed, unfolding to a size of 100 x 74cm [39 x 29ins]. The map folds down to a size of 18 x 12cm and there is no slipcase/ A little browning along some edges and some small holes in the linen backing at intersections of folds but generally a good sound example of a map from the late eighteenth century. Maps solely of Switzerland are not at all common. feb26/8
