2 folding maps at rear of volume [Yusafzai, Waziristan], map plates bound in, frontispiece & two other coloured plates, 25 other illustrations , xv, 205pp. Original buff cloth boards with red gilt labels and regimental badge to upper bevelled board, dent and crease to cloth of spine, very minor ware, a completely sound copy with clean text block, one of the large maps at rear with an extra crease near one fold. One of the most comprehensive Indian regimental histories, appendices include lists of British and Indian officers. See jan8/2 for an example of the earlier volume produced in 1938.
