Old stout full leather binding with later title label, text block sound but pulling from the binding between the frontispiece and title page, stain to frontis, small loss of paper at top centre of title page, last page of text discoloured, ffep with old inscription Wm. H. Wade-Gery …. Williesden Aug 8th 1889, top of title page with contemporary inscription Blechynden.  A complete copy of this comprehensive day by day account of the trial. The pagination follows a series of parts, which were possibly issued separately over the years of the trial. An essential research tool for the student of this period of Indian history.     apr9/2
