Volunteer Artillery: a large coloured print of 1860
The 21 x 14½ ins print by Gambari & Co of Oxford St, London & Rue de Bruxelles, Paris depicts an array of different uniforms, identified beneath the image as being Liverpool, Glamorgan, Honourable Artillery Company, Kent, Norfolk & Kent. This is the type of print which used to found decorating the walls of military tailors. There is a small closed, repaired tear on the lower edge and the lower right coner is creased. feb1/2 SOLD 26th November 2021
