xi. 226pp, [4pp ads]. Numerous illutrations from photographs, over 70 of which are portraits. Original printed boards and cloth spine, damp staining and some loss to spine, the text block remains clean apart from p25/26 which has a piece of thin card  accidentally stuck to one side causing a tear [shown in our illustrations]. The book is ex library and an old library stamp has been obliterated with some white substance to the title page and lower margin of last text page.The portrait illustrations make this a useful work of reference, the other 150 or so illustrations are views, largely of buildings.
