Wentworth Woodhouse, Yorkshire. A 19th century print of the main facade.
POA
The 10 x 6½ print on paper is close trimmed to the border lines but retinas the title View of Wentworth House in Yorkshire, the Seat of the Rt. Honble. the Marquis of Rockingham. The massive house, now known as Wentworth Woodhouse and thought to have over 300 rooms, was altered from a Jacobean house for the Marquis of Rockingham but for most of the remaining period it was in the family of the Earls Fitzwilliam. oct4/1 SOLD 7th March 2023
