The flat 20mm gilt has the PAVO monogram of the 11th Prince Albert Victor’s Own Cavalry with the backmark PITT & Co. 31 MADDOX ST. LONDON W . There is a dark mark to the right of the monogram which would probably clean off quite easily. The Indian Army cavalry regiment was formed from the 20th and 23rd Cavalry Regiments in 1922 jul21/3 SOLD 22nd July 2025
