An officer’s gilt 16mm button of the pattern worn by the 11th Rajputs from 1903, having the design of the regimental number XI within a circle with the title RAJPUTS surmounted by Tudor or king’s crown, all within a wreath. The button has the backmark RANKEN & Co. CALCUTTA. There is only a little rubbing to the design. In 1922 the 11th became a battalion of the large 7th Rajput Regiment. dec22/1 SOLD 12th Fbruary 2026
