The framed aquatint measures 18¼ x 14¾ ins over the simple but old gilt frame with the aquatint itself 8½ x 11½ visible within the mount. It was drawn by L. Mansion and published by L. Mansion, 12  Gloucester Road, Old Bromptom, and was coloured by G. Brown & C.H. Martin. It shows the elegant officer wearing a bell topped shako with two other officers and the regiment drawn up in the background. A very elegant aquatint of around 1830. An old collector’s label on the reverse names Capt. Unett, D.S.O., Springfield Court, Chelmsford who had served in the East Yorkshire Regiment and later been Chief Constable of Essex. may 30/1
