An interesting printed souvenir in an old glazed frame, 13½ x 9½ ins visible. An account of the advance of the 33rd Indian Corps from Jorhat to Rangoon during 1944-1945 in the terrible Burma Campaign against Japanese forces. The account of Lieut. General Sir Montagu Stopford’s Corps notes over 28,000 Japanese killed and 373 guns captured or destroyed.  The border of the document illustrates the component units’ shoulder patches in full colour.
