£390.00
54th Sikhs, Frontier Force The officer’s leather pouch for a shoulder belt is of black leather, in better than average condition but with the usual heat damage. It retains all its original fittings and the handsome silver plated 67 x 50 mm badge. The badge has a circle bearing the wording FRONTIER FORCE SIKHS around the central mounted 54 , surmounted by a Tudor crown, within a laurel wreath, a strung bugle below and beneath that a scroll with the battle honours PEGU DELHI CHITRAL . This dates from between 1903 and 1922 when the regiment became a battalion of the 12th Frontier Force Regiment. jul12/1
