Lieutenant Philip Quirk, A full length portrait of the officer, who was commissioned into the 67th South Hampshire Regiment in 1864 and became a captain in 1871. He holds his sword and his shako sits on a stand beside him with its regimental 67 in the centre. He is identified in a contemporary hand on the plain thin card on which the cdv sized image has been pasted. He retired on half pay in 1884 as an honorary major and went on to the reserve list.  may5/1
