69th South Lincolnshire Regiment. officer’s coatee 21mm.

The 21mm officer’s coatee button of the 69th South Lincolnshire Regiment is the largest worn on the pre-1855 coatee. The regiment became the 2nd Bn of the Welsh Regiment after 1881. It has the backmark  CHARLES JENNENS . LONDON. The button has lost much of the original gilt finish although I have never tried to clean it. jan13/1
