£40.00
A silver plated officer’s button of the 25mm size of the 6th Weat York Militia with the backmark JENNENS & Co. LONDON , This is the pattern introduced in 1853 and used until the unit became the 3rd & 4th Bns The Duke of Wellington’s West Riding Regiment in 1881. This example would have been worn on the officer’s tunic between 1855 and 1881. There is just a little sign of rubbing on the highest points of the design.feb28/1
