7th Lancers large sized, 26mm, officer’s white metal button with king’s crown above the regimental number over crossed lances. The button has no backmark. The Light Cavalry was formed in 1922, having originated as the 2nd Madras Lancers. Although it is silver plated the photograph make it look like brass. aug15/4
