A very good example of the officer’s 25mm gilt button of the 7th (Royal Fusiliers) Regt. of Foot. The button has the backmark FIRMIN & SONS 153 STRAND, LONDON and retains much of the original gilt finish. This is the pattern worn from 1855 to 1881 when the regiment became 1st & 2ns Bns.
