96th Regt. of Foot, officer’s gilt 25mm.

An excellent example of the officer’s large sized gilt 25mm 96th Regt. button with the backmark JENNENS & Co. LONDON and is the pattern worn on the tunic from 1855 to 1881 when the regiment was re-designated 2nd Battalion The Manchester Regiment. This button retains  the full original gilt finish. mar26/2  SOLD 6th September 2025
