Two stylish portraits, each 5½ x 4¼ ins., on an old card leaf showing a cavalry officer in khaki service dress. He wears a Sam Browne belt, which was introduced in India in 1898, as well as a shoulder belt and has the late 19th century heavy cavalry sword whivh was superseded in 1912. oct 21/4 SOLD 22nd October 2022
