A sturdy brass finger cast with a European crown

The brass ring has an internal diameter of around 20mm and is of very strong construction. I do not have the expertise to identify the crown precisely but it looks German or eastern European. Its simple and strong construction suggests it was probably for wear by a man and quite probably by a soldier showing loyalty to his ruler. Although I have used an old ring box to help photograph the ring the box is not sold with it. jun28/3
