A 9½x 6¼ ins. atmospheric photograph showing members of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in a tented camp on an old photogrpaher’s car of A. F. Mackenzie, Birnam N.B. A very mixed group in a variety of uniforms, probably members of one of the militia or volunteer battalions of the regiment. A number of those in the foregound are playing intruments but there are no pipes in evidence. aug23/1
