Australian Kangaroo. Small silver toy animal

The well modelled kangaroo appears to be of solid construction, measuring approximately 2 x 2 ins. It is marked on the tail STG SIL for sterling silver and probably dates from the early 20th century. mar10/1

I have probably owned this for about 50 years and it dates from a time when I used to collect these little animals. It remains the only such kangaroo I have ever seen,
