Black Watch. A rather unusual group portrait by Watt & Son [30 Reform Street, Dundee] titled in the negative Active Service Section.1st V.B. The Black Watch. 5th Feb. 1902. The group. a subaltern and 24 others, wear blue uniform. It is unusual to fid such a precisely dated image. This is 7½ x 5½ ins and mounted on photographer’s card. The reverse has some rather indistinct writing mentioning Dundee and is inscrribed by the original owner 4th R Centre Row, Peter Y. Grant. feb17/1
