British military buttons worn before 1855. In stock on 9th October 2025

This board shows examples of the buttons we have in stock today which date from before 1855, when the modern tunioc was introduced, replacing previous coatees and stable jackets. I have shown seoarate images of two which I especially like and which have a provenance which adds interest. Ihave have experienced a strong demand for buttons from this period in recent monthsand I think only one on this board is a button which has been dug up.  oct8/1
